Recommended Reading

I recommend you stay away from any book not listed here unless you ask me first. There are many dog training books out there with many conflicting notions about training. Some may even on the surface sound logical - until you really look at what the author is telling you to do.

• Give Your Dog a Bone by Ian Billinghurst, BVS (Austrailian equivalent of a DVM), explaining the concepts of feeding a raw diet.

• Grow Your Pups with Bones by Ian Billinghurst

• Holistic Guide for a Healthy Dog by Wendy Volhard

• Ultimate Diet: Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats by Kymythy Schultze. This is a totally raw diet without any grains or dairy whatsoever. It is a very well written, easy to understand manual on feeding.
