PMDT Trainer Academy
Level One (40 hours)

Approved for 22 ceu’s for CCPDT’s and 15 ceu's for IAABC

This five day thorough, demanding (and yet fun!) academy is geared toward giving the student teacher a more than basic knowledge of handling and training dogs and people. You are responsible for all travel, meals and hotel accommodations. (Check out local hotels and campgrounds). Please leave your own dogs at home. We will supply plenty of dogs for you to work with.

In Level One, you can expect to learn:

• The science of learning

• Assessment of existing ability and sensitivity

• Basic training skills

• Equipment – pros and cons

• Learning the language of dogs

• Real classroom procedures

• and much more.

A non-refundable deposit of $125.00 will reserve your space. Upon receipt of deposit, I will send you an informative required reading list, that will help you prepare for an exciting week at the Academy. The balance is due in full 45 days prior to the start of class. At that time, the workbook will be sent to you.
