The same day as my rally trial, November 20, I went home, laid on the heating pad for an hour, changed my clothes and went to Patewood Farm to perform at Suzanne Marshall's Dressage Exhibition (she is the person that inspired me to do our exhibition).
I was supposed to "dance" with Emma, but she really freaked out at the barn. The horses kicking their stalls sounded like gun shots to her, the speakers scared her and she was just too freaked out for me to try to get her over it at this time.
So, yesterday I substituted Shadow at dress rehearsal and he was great!
There were over 125 people there today and we had to walk through the audience. (Thanks Trish for riding shotgun going in and out! Just a tad too many people there to chance anything).
He was fabulous - handled everything like a real pro. (Thanks Patti for filming it for me!!!). Shads was just a tad supercharged and barked through most of it and I have way too little rhythm...but it was fun!
